As with most markets, it usually starts around 8.30-9.00 am and they usually start to close up around 12.30 but if you’re lucky, there’ll still be a few stalls there at 1.30!
Like all open markets, it’s dependant on the weather, for example, don’t go if it’s howling a gale! ?
It’s not as big as the Thursday market down below in Camucia but it’s not bad! It takes over Piazza Luca Signorelli and goes off up the hill.
It’s a good general market and you have the added bonus of the fantastic restaurants of Cortona after you’ve exhausted yourself shopping, and of course, all those weary husbands can sit at one of the great bars looking after all your purchases while you shop! 🙂
